Pastor – Al Adams

Chaplain Rev Alfred Adams wedded to his lovely wife for over 25 years was born to Gwendolyn McWhite and Alfred Adams Sr.. He is a native New Yorker and spent most of his childhood life unknowingly serving GOD. Alfred was always a servant and most of his life was seen helping the elderly by offering to carry bags, cleaning up backyards, doing laundry, volunteering after school to help with multiple projects among many other things. He was always there in the midst with a servant mentality. For a younger man he seldom took money for helping and if he did he always put it in his bank for a later date. Alfred truly epitomized Hebrews 13:16 “Don’t forget to do good and share what you have with others for GOD loves this type of sacrifice” Fast forwarding to the present as the Pastor of New Brown Memorial, Rev. Adams stands grateful and humble on the shoulders that have propelled him to where he is today. He is quoted as saying “Never forget to honor those who paved the way for you”. A special thanks to Pastor A.R Jamal for passing the torch and all of those who came before him. Pastor Adams coin phrase is “I LOVE YOU AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT”. And in addition to his love for New Brown Memorial he is often heard telling his congregation that they are important, necessary, and needed stemming form scripture 1st Corinthian 12:12-24.
